It’s okay to have opinions, especially on music. Go ahead and say, “Yeah I perfer the band back then. I’m not a fan of their stuff now-just not my thing.” But why would you go off and blast, “They sold out. Their old stuff was better and more them. After the second album they went down hill. They suck”? That makes no sense. Most artist grow up, and so does their music. You can’t just assume things. If you’re really some music genius, how about you actually read up on artist and their music, rather than bashing them without any knowledge.
